Liberty CityPoint Hotel

This hotel is the 3rd among hotels designed by KAZE team. The Hotel was designed and constructed in one year.

The client entrusted KAZE to develop once again a 170 - Room key, 24-level building. The architectural facade and interior design follows Liberty standards of city hotels for business and pleasure.

The challenge we faced here, beside the extreme tight time schedule, lies in where to change the inner and outer of building on the drawings board, from an office layout to a city hotel.

KAZE wants a city hotel to interact with people on the street. Any hotel, that can attract other customers than its own guests, has got added values. We convinced the client to use the large space for the welcoming / reception and meeting point area with a cafe that links to the pedestrian walk. It was meant to be a leasing retail section.

KAZE has roots in the Nordic hemisphere. With the inspiration of creating this "pocket" in the city, we wanted to create this "tree of life".

It symbolizes a pocket where you can hide into the tree and find shelter and rest.

Our materials are limited to stone and wood. We like to keep the materials simple, yet we set each material in motion to make it alive and matters to the main Idea.
