MAD House

Kaze Interior Design Studio has used their Nordic roots to create a tranquil setting here at MAD House, a restaurant tucked away in the popular District 2 area of Ho Chi Minh City. There is a lazy Sunday afternoon feel as you unwind in the outdoor sofas surrounded by the lush greenery of the garden with its coconut palms and rabbits hopping around.

On the patio and in the indoor dining space the furnishings are rustic reflecting the informal, slightly bohemian, atmosphere. The lighting is subtle with basket ware lightshades on the ceiling lights and standing lamps dotted throughout the garden. Water flows gently from two large stone vases in a pool of cool water. It’s a place where inhibitions can be forgotten at least until Monday morning!
