KAZE Interior Design Studio made a small but significant change to the established Renaissance Riverside Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. We gave a facelift to the hotel reception lobby, R bar and the Viet Kitchen restaurant.

The Marriott team and KAZE Interior Design Studio worked closely to reflect a slice of the city in which we live, eat and sleep. The strong geometric forms created from different materials mirror the dynamics of the city. Contrasting materials are used for the floors, walls and ceilings. The floor appears to be shedding its skin as the walls reach out to you. In the entrance lobby each step you take is mirrored by the reflective surface of the ceiling. This is a story of travellers with "wanderlust" who want to get lost in the big city and navigate through the old and the new.
